Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 1 hr
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake Tricolor bread? Divide flour, yeast and salt into 3 equal parts. For green bread, puree the spinach in a blender with a little water (about 100 ml) and 20 ml of oil, then add the puree to the first part of the sifted flour with yeast and salt. Knead the dough and leave to rise in a warm place for an hour.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

For red bread, add ground paprika and blanched red pepper puree, 20 ml of oil and water (about 120 ml) to the second part of the sifted flour with yeast and salt. Place in a warm place to rise for an hour.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

For yellow bread, puree baked pumpkin with water (50-70 ml) and 20 ml oil. Pour the puree into a third of the sifted flour with yeast and salt. Also let rise in a warm place for an hour.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Take approximately identical pieces of dough of different colors.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Roll out identical sausages on a floured surface.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Connect the upper ends of the sausages and weave them into a loose braid (in the photo the braid is a little tight). Secure the ends. Cover the bread with a towel and let rise in a warm place for 20-30 minutes. Then wet the top with water and sprinkle each type of dough with a different type of seed.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Bake in an oven preheated to 220 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and decorate your table!

Good afternoon Thank you very much for the interesting idea with flowers. I baked three-color bread and it turned out very tasty. The recipe states the total amount of flour. This flour is divided into 3 types of dough. And the amount of water is different, because... Pumpkin puree, spinach and pepper are different in consistency, so the amount of water used is different. Girls, be careful! My photo report!)
