I have long wanted to make Thousand Island Sauce myself at home. Moreover, it is prepared simply and quickly. As a base, I used light mayonnaise without additives. My ketchup is "Tomato". I used pickles from my own stock instead of capers. I also added a boiled egg. I passed the garlic through a press. The only thing I didn't have was Tabasco. The sauce turned out to be very thick and textured. I love when pieces come across. Not like powdered cafe sauce) I really liked the result! So many different flavors and all together perfectly balanced. In general, I ate everything myself with scrambled eggs and black bread) I recommend the recipe, it’s very tasty.

I made thousand island sauce for meat. I used gherkins instead of capers. I added more chili sauce, a teaspoon, I like it spicier. The sauce turned out rich with a bright taste, just perfect for the meat! Thanks a lot!
