    Pass the resulting mixture through a sieve into a bowl.

    Add vegetable oil, water, remaining sugar and tangerine zest to a bowl with egg-tangerine puree. Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk until smooth.

    Add the flour sifted with baking powder and mix again until smooth. Thanks to sifting, the flour will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished cake will turn out fluffier and airier. The dough should be viscous, but fluid. Add a little more flour if necessary.

I have noticed this recipe for a long time and decided to try it. The dough kneading is really interesting, and the composition is very simple. My mold fit 7 halves, and I zested all the tangerines. The dough is quite thick, but flows easily from the whisk. The cake was baked for one hour, but the middle was still not cooked through. Turn the finished pie over and cool on a wire rack. It turned out very juicy! When slicing, the juice literally flows out of the tangerines. The dough around them turned out more moist. The aroma and taste of tangerines is simply incredible!
