Sweet Lenten pie with jam without eggs

STEP 1

The composition of the filling in the recipe can be arbitrary. It must be jam, but it doesn’t matter what kind. Berry and fruit will also work, from an apple or pear, for example. But the dough for any of the options will be the same.
STEP 2

So let's get started. Sugar, yeast, flour and salt - this is the composition of the base of the pie. Mix them together

and pour in a glass of warm water. Knead the dough, turning the shapeless mass into something more beautiful and pleasing to the eye. Leave the dough to rise, covering the container with a thick cloth.
STEP 4

Measure out half a glass of refined sunflower oil. Heat the oil a little in a suitable manner so that it becomes more fluid. Pour the oil into a bowl in which we keep the risen dough and knead the mass again.
STEP 5

After completing the work, keep the dough on the shelf in the refrigerator for exactly an hour.
STEP 6

We return it to the table and roll it into a flat cake. Place the workpiece on a baking sheet.
STEP 7

Apply jam to taste. Actually, the last stop that Lenten jam pie should make is the oven. You can first separate less than a third of the dough mass and roll it into separate strips. We will lay out the surface of the pie with these stripes, placing them crosswise on a layer of jam.
STEP 8

We bake on average for half an hour. A lot depends on the type of oven. Do you want to do it faster? Then set it to 180-190 degrees and monitor the condition of the pie.
