STEP 1
How to fry sweet cakes in a frying pan? First, prepare the necessary ingredients from the list. Use premium flour. You can increase or decrease the amount of sugar to your taste. To give the cakes a vanilla flavor, you can add a little vanillin to the dough or replace some of the sugar with vanilla.
STEP 2
Sift the flour into a bowl. Make a small well in the flour.
STEP 3
Break an egg into the flour, pour in warm water and vegetable oil, add sugar, baking powder and salt.
STEP 4
Knead into a smooth, elastic, non-sticky dough, adding a little more flour or water if necessary.
STEP 5
Place the dough in a bowl, cover with cling film and leave warm for 30 minutes.
STEP 6
Divide the dough into 5-6 equal pieces and roll them into balls.
STEP 7
I used 85 g of dough for each part. Roll out each part with a rolling pin or stretch it with your hands into a small round cake with a diameter of about 12 cm. Prepare the remaining cakes in the same way.
STEP 8
Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the flatbreads and fry on both sides until golden brown. You can use any oil for frying according to your taste. I have sunflower.
STEP 9
Place the finished cakes on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm or completely cooled with tea, coffee, milk or cocoa. Bon appetit!
