Sweet cherry tomatoes marinated
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make sweet cherry tomatoes for the winter? Prepare all the products indicated in the recipe. To brighten the finished jars, I used cherry tomatoes of two colors - yellow and red. You will learn the subtleties of preparations for the winter by reading the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 2
To determine the exact number of tomatoes needed for pickling, fill empty jars to the top.
STEP 3
Peel the garlic and onion. Rinse under cold running water. Wash the dill sprigs as well. For the recipe, you can take dill umbrellas.
STEP 4
Sort the tomatoes, remove the stems. Wash the cherry tomatoes well. If necessary, make punctures in the places where the stalk is attached using a toothpick. This will help the tomatoes stay intact and not crack.
STEP 5
Cut the onion into rings and the garlic into slices or slices.
STEP 6
Wash jars and lids thoroughly. Use baking soda and a soft sponge for this. Rinse the container several times in clean water. Next, pour boiling water over the jars and lids. You will learn other methods of sterilization by reading the article at the end of this recipe. Place a few onion rings, some garlic and a sprig of dill on the bottom of each jar.
STEP 7
Add cherry tomatoes halfway.
STEP 8
Next, make another layer with onions, garlic and dill. Add a couple of black peppercorns. If you are using parsley, add it at this stage of cooking.
STEP 9
Pour the tomatoes up to the neck.
STEP 10
Fill the jars with boiling water to the top.
STEP 11
Cover with a lid and leave for 20 minutes.
STEP 12
Drain the water from the jars into a separate saucepan or saucepan. From two cans I got about 1 liter. water. Add salt and sugar. For marinades, use regular rock salt without any additives. Place the pan on the stove. Bring to a boil over high heat, when the salt and sugar are completely dissolved, pour in the vinegar and immediately remove the marinade from the heat.
STEP 13
Pour the boiling marinade into the jars of tomatoes to the top. Close with lids. Turn the jars upside down and wrap them in a warm blanket. Leave it this way until it cools completely.
STEP 14
Sweet cherry tomatoes are ready! Store the workpiece in a cool, dark place.
