STEP 1
How to make stewed rabbit in sour cream in a slow cooker? Ingredients for cooking.
STEP 2
First, disassemble the rabbit into pieces, rinse thoroughly and place on paper towels to remove moisture.
STEP 3
Place dry pieces of meat into a bowl. Sprinkle them with salt, pepper, mixed spices and, if desired, dried chilies.
STEP 4
Using your hands, thoroughly rub all the spices into the surface of the meat. Cover the bowl with cling film and leave for 20 minutes at room temperature so that the pieces are saturated with the aromas of the spices. If you will leave the meat longer, then hide it in the refrigerator.
STEP 5
Heat a frying pan, pour a little vegetable oil into it and place the rabbit pieces soaked in aroma. Fry the meat on both sides over high heat until golden brown.
STEP 6
Peel and wash the onions, carrots and garlic.
STEP 7
Cut the onions and carrots into quarter rings, and the garlic into slices.
STEP 8
Pour some oil into the multicooker bowl. Lay out the chopped vegetables.
STEP 9
Using the "Frying" or "Baking" mode, fry them for 5 minutes.
STEP 10
Place pieces of rabbit meat on top. Add bay leaves and fresh thyme leaves.
STEP 11
Pour in about 1 liter of water, the water level should be level with the meat.
STEP 12
Return the bowl to the slow cooker and cook the rabbit on the "Stew" setting until tender, about 1 hour. The stewing time depends on the power of your multicooker and the age of the rabbit.
STEP 13
While the rabbit is stewing, add flour to the sour cream.
STEP 14
And stir thoroughly.
STEP 15
