Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to steam potatoes? Prepare the necessary ingredients.
STEP 2

Pour water into a saucepan, bring to a boil and add salt.
STEP 3
Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water with a brush, peel them very thinly (preferably using a potato peeler), cut large potatoes into 2-4 parts, small ones can be left whole or cut in half.
STEP 4
Place the peeled potatoes on a steaming strainer (you can use a colander or sieve), place it in a saucepan of boiling water, and then cover tightly with a lid. Please note that the vegetables should not come into contact with the water. Bring the water to a boil again and reduce the heat to low; the water should simmer slightly. Cook the potatoes in this manner for about 30 minutes.
STEP 5
Place the finished potatoes in a deep bowl, add butter, sprinkle with herbs.
STEP 6
Our healthy and tasty potatoes are ready.

Serve as a separate dish or as a side dish for meat or fish. Bon appetit!
