Step-by-step preparation
Cooking time: 20 mins
STEP 1
To steam, use limonella, salt, pepper, bay leaf, oil and lemon.
STEP 2
Clean and rinse the fish, pat dry with a paper towel.
STEP 3
Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
STEP 4
Add the oil and mix well, let stand for a bit - about 5 minutes.
STEP 5
Place the fish in a steamer bowl, where water is already boiling with the addition of bay leaves.
STEP 6
Add a sprig of thyme on top. Cover with a lid and steam for 10-15 minutes depending on the size of the pieces.
STEP 7
Steamed lmonella is ready! Remove the thyme and serve with or without garnish.
STEP 8
Steamed fish goes well with rice cooked in the microwave at the same time.
STEP 9
Serve immediately after cooking - this is when the fish is most juicy.
