Squid in sour cream with onions

STEP 1

How to make squid in sour cream and onions? Very simple and fast. First, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Sour cream will suit any fat content. I have 15%.
STEP 2

You can use squids already peeled, without skin or with skin. If you use unpeeled squid, you must first remove the skin from them, remove the insides and the chitinous plate. To make squid easier to clean, you can immerse the carcasses in boiling water for 30 seconds. Cut the prepared squid carcasses into rings. Cut the tail fins into strips.
STEP 3

Cut the onion into half rings or cubes, as you prefer. In addition to the onion, you can also chop 1 clove of garlic.
STEP 4

Peel the carrots and grate on a coarse grater.
STEP 5

Heat vegetable oil and butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
STEP 6

Add onions and carrots. Stir-fry until vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.
STEP 7

Add sour cream and tomato paste to the vegetables in the pan. Salt, pepper and mix everything. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring, for 1 minute.
STEP 8

Place the squid in the frying pan and simmer all together for no longer than 3 minutes, otherwise the squid will become tough as rubber and completely tasteless.
STEP 9

When the squid is ready, remove the pan from the heat, cover with a lid and leave the seafood to steep for 10 minutes.
STEP 10

Place the squid on plates and sprinkle with fresh parsley. These squids can be served as a separate appetizer or main course with any side dish. Bon appetit!
