STEP 1

How to make a snack cake from wafer cakes with canned food? Prepare all the necessary products. You can take any canned fish to suit your taste: ivashi, sardines, saury, pink salmon, cod (I had saury). Boil carrots and eggs in advance. Wash the eggs first in warm water and soda, as they may contain harmful bacteria.
STEP 2

Place the first waffle layer on a cake board or flat dish and brush it with mayonnaise.
STEP 3

Remove the canned fish from the jar, remove large bones from the fish. Mash the fish with a fork with a small amount of canned oil. We won't need the rest of the oil. Peel the onion, wash, dry and finely chop. To prevent the onion from becoming bitter, you can scald it with boiling water. Place the mashed fish, followed by the onion, on a waffle crust coated with mayonnaise.
STEP 4

Place the second waffle layer and also brush with mayonnaise. Peel the boiled carrots, grate them on a fine grater and distribute evenly over the waffle crust. Lightly salt.
STEP 5

Next, lay out the next waffle layer and brush with mayonnaise. Peel the boiled eggs, separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the egg whites on a fine grater, or use a coarse grater if desired, and distribute evenly over the waffle crust.
STEP 6

Place another waffle layer on top and brush it with mayonnaise.
STEP 7

Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater and spread on top of the crust greased with mayonnaise. Choose any hard cheese, focusing on your taste preferences.
STEP 8

Next, lay out the waffle cake again and brush with mayonnaise. Grate the yolks of boiled eggs on a fine grater and distribute evenly over the crust.
STEP 9

Place the last waffle layer.
STEP 10

Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the top and sides of the snack cake. Decorate it to your liking. I sprinkled the sides of the cake with finely chopped herbs, and placed sliced tomatoes and Korean carrots on top. For decoration, you can also take bell peppers, black olives or black olives.
