  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry shrimp in soy sauce? What is the best shrimp to use? Royal or tiger clams are perfect for preparing this dish (in the absence of these, you can also use regular ones). Prepare all products. Remove the shrimp from the freezer and leave at room temperature.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

To defrost faster, I sometimes use cool water. I fill the shrimp with water and leave it for a while.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Remove the head (if any) from thawed clams and peel off the shell.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Remove the vena cava from the back of each shrimp.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Peel the garlic and rinse in cold water. Pass the cloves through a press or grate on a fine grater.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat the vegetable oil well in a frying pan and fry the shrimp. Stirring, cook over high heat for about one to two minutes. During this time they will turn red and curl into rings.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add butter, garlic and hot peppers to the pan. Stir and leave this way for a few seconds to a minute.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Pour in soy sauce (the amount can be increased by 1-2 tablespoons if you like saltier dishes). Stirring, cook over medium-high heat for about two minutes. Reduce the required amount of soy sauce and remove the shrimp from the heat.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Sprinkle the finished dish with freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice and garnish with finely chopped herbs. You can also sprinkle the shrimp with allspice black pepper. Done, ready to serve!

Shrimp fried with garlic in soy sauce in a frying pan is very tasty, very aromatic, a real delight. I used large shrimp; uncooked shrimp are much easier to clean than small ones. I spent most of my time cleaning the shrimp; the dish itself is prepared instantly. These shrimp turn out amazing: moderately spicy, very appetizing. They are good both hot and cold. Zhemchuzhina, thank you very much for the recipe!
