Sauce with mayonnaise and pickles

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make sauce with mayonnaise, pickles, garlic and herbs? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Choose mayonnaise to your taste. It is this that will set the main taste of the entire sauce. You can make homemade mayonnaise, you will find a link to the recipes after the last step. You can take any greens. It could be dill, parsley or green onions. Take one large pickled cucumber or two small ones. You can replace the pickled cucumber with a pickled one.
STEP 2

Cut the pickled cucumber into very small cubes. You can grate it, but then juice will appear from it, which will need to be squeezed out, otherwise it will make the sauce very liquid. Place the sliced cucumber in a small bowl.
STEP 3

Finely chop the fresh herbs. I really like using dill in this sauce. Place the chopped greens in a bowl with the cucumbers.
STEP 4

Peel the garlic and pass it through a press directly into a bowl. Add salt and spices to taste. When adding salt, keep in mind that cucumbers and mayonnaise are already salted. You may not need salt. As a spice, you can add ground pepper or dried aromatic herbs, such as basil or oregano.
STEP 5

Next, put the mayonnaise in the bowl and mix all the ingredients thoroughly until smooth. If desired, to reduce the calorie content of the sauce, mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream or natural yogurt. However, keep in mind that the taste of the sauce will change.
STEP 6

The sauce with mayonnaise and pickles is ready! Place it in a sauce boat and serve. It goes well with country-style potatoes, bread croutons or chicken wings. Bon appetit!
