Salad with squid and carrots and cucumber

STEP 1
How to make a salad with squid, carrots and cucumber? Prepare the necessary products. Thaw the squids first. You can take any onion: red or white. You can only use sour cream or natural yogurt as a dressing. They can be taken separately or mixed in any proportion to suit your taste. This will make the salad less calorie.
STEP 2
Clean the squid. Peel off the skin and remove the chitinous plate inside the squid. Be sure to remove the thin transparent film. If you can’t do this right away, you can remove it after cooking. Place seafood in boiling salted water and bring to a boil. It usually takes about 1-2 minutes for water to boil. Keep the squid in boiling water for about 10 seconds and remove. Do not cook the squid for too long to prevent it from becoming tough. Cool the squids.
STEP 3
Cut the squid into medium strips.
STEP 4
Wash the carrots first and cook until tender. How to check the readiness of a vegetable? Pierce the carrots with a knife. If it is soft, it means it is cooked. Cool the boiled carrots and peel them. Cut the carrots into strips.
STEP 5
Peel and wash the onions. Cut the onion into thin half rings.
STEP 6
Wash the cucumber and dry it. Cut off the ends of the cucumber. If the skin is not damaged, rough or bitter, you don't have to cut it off. Cut the cucumber into thin strips as well.
STEP 7
Wash the eggs. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. Boil the eggs hard. How to hard boil eggs? To prevent eggs from cracking during cooking, place them in cold water and cook over low heat. Boil the eggs for 7 minutes after boiling, then cover with cold water and cool. The shell will be better cleaned from a sharp temperature change. Peel the eggs and cut into strips.
STEP 8
For dressing, combine sour cream and mayonnaise and mix.
STEP 9
In a suitable-sized salad bowl, combine all the prepared ingredients: squid, eggs, carrots, onions and cucumber. Add sour cream and mayonnaise and mix. If necessary, add a little salt to the salad.
STEP 10
Salad with squid, carrots and cucumber can be refrigerated or served immediately. Bon appetit!
