Salad with processed cheese, eggs and garlic

Simple, satisfying, light, tasty, made from affordable ingredients! Salad with processed cheese, eggs and garlic is an excellent budget option for weekdays. It cooks quickly; the longest time is to boil the potatoes. But while it’s cooking, chop the rest of the ingredients. All that remains is to season with mayonnaise - and the salad is ready.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a salad with processed cheese, eggs and garlic? Very simple and fast! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Take large, selected eggs. If the eggs are small, it is better to take 3 pieces.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Grate the processed cheese on a medium or fine grater. To make it easier to grate the cheese curds, first put them in the freezer for 20 minutes. The cheeses should be dense, in briquettes (“Druzhba”, “Yantar”). Soft processed cheese will not work here.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Boil the potatoes in their skins until tender, cool and peel. Cut the potatoes into small cubes. It is important not to overcook the potatoes; they should be ready, but not mushy. Boiled potatoes do not hold their shape and turn into mush when cutting and mixing the salad.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Hard boil the eggs, cool and peel. Cut into small cubes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Wash the cucumbers and cut into small cubes. The skin, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter, does not need to be cut off.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Wash all greens thoroughly and dry. Cut green onions into rings. Finely chop the dill. In addition to the indicated greens, you can take parsley, cilantro, basil, in general, any greens to your taste.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

In a salad bowl, mix grated processed cheese, potatoes, eggs, green cucumber and pressed garlic. If you wish, you can add additional salt and pepper to the salad, but I usually do not add spices to salads with mayonnaise.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Season the salad with mayonnaise and mix gently, being careful not to crush the eggs and potatoes.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place a cooking ring on a plate, place the prepared salad in it and compact it. I have a ring with a diameter of 16 cm, so the salad turned out to be quite tall. If you wish, you can simply serve the salad in a salad bowl. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Before serving, remove the cooking ring and garnish the salad with cherry tomato halves, cucumbers and herbs. Bon appetit!

For a snack, I decided to make a salad with processed cheese, eggs and garlic. I boiled the eggs and potatoes in advance so that they were completely cooled by the time they were cooked. I grated the processed cheese and cut the remaining products into cubes. Added herbs, mayonnaise, a little grated garlic, and stirred. I really liked the salad. Its taste is soft, fresh cucumber very refreshes the salad and gives it juiciness. The light garlic-dill aroma perfectly complements the taste. Thank you for the simple but very tasty recipe, Maria!

Must be a tasty salad. I would make it without potatoes to make it lighter, but I like it that way.

Everything new is long forgotten old. Delicious salad! Salad with processed cheese, eggs and garlic, has not lost its popularity for many years now, and for good reason. I also prepare salads on weekdays - it helps us make them brighter and tastier)) And with potatoes and cucumbers - a festive option. Thank you very much!
