Wash the cucumber and cut into cubes. First I cut it into three barrels, then each barrel into strips and the strips into cubes.

    Wash the eggs in water and soda, as there may be harmful bacteria on their surface. Boil them hard for 10 minutes. Then cool with cold water. Peel the shell and cut into cubes in the same way as the cucumber. For this I always use a special round strainer with square divisions, it comes out faster, but you can just cut them with a knife. It is better to take homemade eggs with a pronounced orange yolk - they taste better and look brighter in the salad.

    Remove the film from the ham and cut it into strips. I cut it into strips of medium thickness - you can thicker or thinner at your discretion.

    Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater. You can use any cheese, as long as it is natural and fresh, without vegetable fats.

    Take a bowl of a suitable size and mix all the prepared products in it: ham, cheese, eggs and cucumber. If you do not plan to serve the salad right away, then do not add the cucumber yet, but only immediately before serving, otherwise it will drain and the salad will lose its taste and become watery. In addition, I used dry garlic pepper seasoning. Alternatively, sprinkle the dish with ground black pepper and dried garlic to taste.

    Season a delicate salad with fresh cucumber, ham, egg and cheese mayonnaise. I have 67% fat mayonnaise, you can use less fat or use homemade mayonnaise, which is best. Mix everything carefully. It is also better to add mayonnaise just before serving, since the salad does not need to be soaked additionally. Bon appetit!
