  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a salad with feta cheese and tomatoes? Prepare your food. The most delicious salad will come from seasonal vegetables; in winter, it is better to take cherry tomatoes, they are tastier. You can use any vegetable oil, the main thing is that it is tasty. You will need juice from half a lemon, so wash it first with hot water. Or use ready-made lemon juice.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Prepare salad dressing. How to make a dressing? Mix olive oil with lemon juice and add a little salt.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add chopped garlic. I grate it on the finest grater. You can simply chop the garlic with a knife or pass it through a press. You can also use garlic powder instead of fresh garlic. Mix all ingredients. The gas station is ready.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into slices. You can use any type of cutting, slices or cubes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Also wash the cucumbers, dry them and cut them in a way convenient for you. Be sure to taste them - a bitter cucumber will ruin the taste of the entire dish.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Cut the feta into cubes. When buying feta, pay attention to the composition - it should be natural feta cheese made from milk, and not a brine product with a milk fat substitute.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

    Mix chopped vegetables with feta.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Salt the salad to taste. Don't oversalt, as feta is already salty enough.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Pour the aromatic dressing over the salad, stir and serve immediately. Salads made from fresh vegetables cannot be stored for a long time; they will release juice and lose their appearance and taste.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

    Bon appetit!

For the summer, this is a salad with feta, vegetables and nothing else is needed. I also like to add balsamic vinegar to the dressing; it goes well with tomatoes.

Salad with Feta cheese and tomatoes - a light, refreshing, tasty salad. It's quick and easy to prepare. I cut the cheese into cubes, the tomatoes into small slices, and the cucumber into half rings. For the dressing, I mixed vegetable oil, lemon juice, and chopped garlic. Combined cheese with vegetables, added dressing and stirred. Simple, fast and very tasty! I recommend trying it 😊 and thanks to the author for the idea!

It’s kind of boring without onions, and I would also add olives (black) and bell peppers, it would be a classic Greek salad. Well, instead of lemon juice, you can use balsamic vinegar for dressing - a tablespoon for a large salad bowl, a small teaspoon for a small one.

This recipe brightened up the menu during the season of tomatoes and cucumbers (when the classic version - tomatoes, cucumber, herbs and onions with olive oil or sour cream is tired). At first I was worried how the feta would survive stirring (there was an incident with sertaki cheese, it just dissolved and turned into some kind of creamy mass) everything mixed perfectly, it turned out very tasty. Thanks for the recipe!
