I bought a jar of cod liver in oil and decided to make a salad. After searching for recipes on my favorite website, I liked the interesting combination of ingredients in this dish. I usually combine cod liver only with eggs. And here there is corn, and cheese, and onions, and eggs, and cucumbers. It became super interesting. Instead of fresh cucumbers, I took pickled ones for my own reasons. I boiled the eggs in advance. Remove the cod liver from the oil. I doused the onion with boiling water so that it wouldn’t become bitter. I used Dutch cheese. But I had frozen corn in grains, I boiled it until tender in salted water. I cut everything into cubes, seasoned it with mayonnaise and peppered it a little. The salad turned out to be very satisfying and rich. It's delicious and unusual. All the ingredients got along well with each other. The salad is quite tender, but the cucumbers have a great crunch. Salad with cod liver cheese and corn can be served even for a holiday. Great salad! Many thanks to the author!

A very interesting salad. Simple and quick to prepare. It will always help out when guests unexpectedly appear. Step-by-step preparation is shown in detail, especially understandable for young housewives. I would only grate the cheese on a coarse grater. You can add homemade mayonnaise; there are many recipes on the Internet now (this is a matter of taste, of course). I am adding the recipe to my cookbook, and this will be the first recipe from the pages of this site.

Delicious salad and quick to prepare. I grated the cheese on a coarse grater, but it seems to me that it would have been better to cut it as in the recipe. I replaced the onion with green and added an apple. thanks for the idea

The salad turned out to be very light and interesting. I love cod liver, I usually just spread it on toast and eat it. This is the first salad in which I didn’t mind using liver. I usually try it and think it would be better to spread it on bread. But here the liver gave a piquant note to the salad , just what I need! Thanks for the recipe
