  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a salad of beans, corn and sausage? Prepare all the specified products according to the list. If you have canned corn and beans, you can prepare the salad in a matter of minutes. If you have dry beans, then you should first soak them in cold water for a day or in hot water for 1-2 hours. Next, boil the beans over low heat for 30 to 90 minutes. How to check if beans are ready? To do this, remove one bean from the pan and mash with a fork.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Drain juice from canned beans and corn. Place in a deep, comfortable bowl.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the sausage from the casing and cut into thin slices. It is also permissible to chop it into cubes, do it as you are more accustomed to. Choose any good quality smoked sausage. Add to corn and beans.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Rinse and dry the green young onions. Chop not very coarsely and place in a salad bowl.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add mayonnaise to the bowl. It is better to use homemade mayonnaise for salad. I also like the combination of all the ingredients in a salad with garlic, so I use that too. I put a small clove of garlic through a press and mix it with mayonnaise. Pepper and salt to taste.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Mix everything thoroughly, garnish with a few sprigs of parsley or dill and serve.

So easy to make corn bean sausage salad, but so delicious! I still had half a jar of red beans and corn left, so I decided to use them in some salad. Based on the ingredients on the website, I found this wonderful recipe. All that remained was to add the spicy sausage and young green onions. By the way, this onion is not very spicy, but very aromatic and juicy. I didn’t want to use mayonnaise for dressing because my daughter wanted to eat it. Therefore, I combined sour cream with mustard oil, added salt and it turned out to be a completely worthy replacement) The salad is tasty, aromatic, filling. With a piece of fresh loaf on the side, it turned out to be a great dinner!
