Royal salad with crab sticks

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Let's prepare the ingredients. Of these ingredients, only chicken eggs and carrots require heat treatment.
STEP 2
To do this, wash chicken eggs with soap to avoid the penetration of pathogenic microbes into the dish through the eggshell and eggs. Chicken eggs should be at room temperature before cooking. Fill them with cold water in a metal saucepan, put it on the fire, and cook for about 20 minutes from the moment it boils. Then drain the water, fill it with hot water, and let the chicken eggs cool. We clean them and grate them.
STEP 3
You can take factory-made crackers or dry them yourself from wheat bread. The second option is better suited for this salad, since ready-made croutons, as a rule, contain some kind of flavoring additives, while homemade ones will turn out exclusively with the taste of bread, which will not drown out the taste of other ingredients in the salad. Cut the wheat bread into small cubes and dry on a dry baking sheet in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
STEP 4
Wash the carrots and cook them in their skins. Cook until done. Cool the carrots, peel and grate.
STEP 5
We cut the crab sticks into small cubes with a knife. We peel the garlic, pass a couple of cloves through a press or chop it very finely with a knife.
STEP 6
This salad can be decorated as a layer salad or simply mixed in a bowl and sprinkled with croutons on top. Place diced crab sticks in the first layer. Lubricate them with a thin layer of mayonnaise. If it seems that the mayonnaise is not salty enough, you can add a little salt to the salad layers.
STEP 7
Next is a layer of grated boiled chicken eggs. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
STEP 8
Then lay out the grated boiled carrots. Top with a thin layer of mayonnaise. Sprinkle with chopped garlic.
STEP 9
Lubricate with mayonnaise.
STEP 10
Sprinkle with grated hard cheese.
STEP 11
Another layer of mayonnaise. It is better to place croutons on this salad or add it to it immediately before serving, otherwise they will get soggy and ruin the taste of the salad and its appearance. If desired, decorate the salad with fresh herbs. Let it brew and serve it to the table. Bon appetit!
