Rooster salad with chicken and hard cheese

Let's prepare our ingredients.

The first step is to prepare the chicken fillet. I sprinkled it with spices and fried it in a frying pan until cooked, but, if desired, the fillet can also be boiled in water or baked in the oven. Choose the method that you like best. Let the finished fillet cool completely.

We also hard-boil the eggs and boil the carrots until fully cooked. We will need carrots for decoration. Let all ingredients cool.
STEP 4

Cut the chicken fillet into small cubes or cubes.
STEP 5

Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater.
STEP 6

We also cut two medium-sized tomatoes into small cubes, but first the tomatoes must be cleaned of seeds; they can be easily removed with a teaspoon. The seeds need to be removed to get rid of excess moisture.

Peel the boiled eggs and grate them on a fine grater. We put them aside.
STEP 8

In a salad bowl, combine chicken fillet, cheese, tomatoes and canned corn.
STEP 9

Add a small amount of mayonnaise and, if desired, season the salad with salt and pepper. Mix.
STEP 10

Now we form the “Rooster”. To do this, place our salad on a flat dish, trying to give it the shape of a cockerel’s body.

Cover the salad on all sides with the grated eggs, lightly pressing them onto the surface of the salad.
STEP 12

Now let's start decorating. We make the eye from an olive, but if you wish, you can take a pea of allspice or a piece of prune. Cut out a comb and beard from a piece of tomato. We cut the boiled carrots into narrow strips and form them into wings and a tail, as well as a beak. We also place sprigs of dill on the wings and tail to add volume. I also added pieces of olives to the tail. We pick parsley leaves from the branches and decorate our salad with them on the bottom.
