    How to make rolls in the oven with sour cream? Prepare your food. They should be at room temperature, so remove the eggs, sour cream and butter from the refrigerator in advance. Beat the eggs into a deep bowl, start beating them with a mixer, gradually adding sugar, you can add vanillin if you wish. Beat for two to three minutes, then add sour cream (I took 20%) and melted butter and cooled to room temperature.

    Sift the flour into a separate bowl (this will enrich it with oxygen and the baking will be more fluffy), add baking powder to it, and mix with a whisk. Start gradually introducing flour into the dough, continue beating with a mixer; when it becomes difficult to beat with a mixer, proceed to kneading with your hands.

    The dough should be soft and elastic. Keep in mind that you may need a little more or less flour. If the dough sticks to your hands, add more flour.

    Cut pieces from the dough and form them into “sausages”.

    Roll the sausages into balls. I got twelve pieces.

    Grease a baking tray with vegetable oil and place the rolls on it at a distance from each other, as they will increase in size during the baking process. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 15-20 minutes. It took me 20 minutes. It may take a little more or less time, depending on your oven. Bake until lightly browned and homemade baked goods smell amazing. The sour cream rolls are ready, bon appetit!

I cook the rolls in the oven with sour cream. I reduced the amount of ingredients by half because I had to use up the leftover sour cream. The amount of sour cream turned out to be a little more than normal, but I did not increase the amount of flour to make the rolls softer, so the dough turned out quite viscous, I put it on a baking sheet with a spoon. But I was completely satisfied with the result, the rolls rose well, were soft inside, moderately sweet and aromatic. Indeed, very cozy homemade pastries, as Anna Slavina (author) described it.
