Rice with meat in the oven

STEP 1
How to bake rice with meat in the oven? Prepare the products according to the list. You can take any meat: pork, beef, lamb or something else. I have pork. Rinse the meat in running water and dry with paper towels. Then cut into small pieces, approximately the same size.
STEP 2
Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and fry the meat, stirring occasionally, for about 3-5 minutes.
STEP 3
Peel and rinse the onions and carrots. Dry with napkins. Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrots on a medium grater. Add chopped onions and carrots to the meat in the frying pan and fry everything together for about 5 more minutes.
STEP 4
Place the roasted meat with vegetables in the prepared baking dish.
STEP 5
Rinse long grain rice in cold water several times until the water is no longer cloudy. Then drain all the water.
STEP 6
Spread the washed rice evenly throughout the meat in the pan. Fill everything with hot water so that it is slightly higher than the level of the rice in the pan, about 1 centimeter. Add a little salt and spices to taste. Sprinkle the dish with chopped fresh herbs. Place the dish in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees, for about 40 minutes. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven.
STEP 7
Remove the finished dish from the oven, arrange on plates and serve. Complete the dish with a light vegetable salad or fresh vegetables. You can prepare some additional sauce. Bon appetit!
