Add a little salt and spices to taste. Sprinkle the dish with chopped fresh herbs. Place the dish in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees, for about 40 minutes. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven.

I needed to cook dinner, but I didn’t have the energy to do it. Rice with meat in the oven helped out. After all, it practically cooks itself; you just need to lightly fry the meat with onions and carrots. By the way, I grated one carrot and cut the second into circles. I washed and soaked the rice in advance to completely remove the starch. I baked rice with meat in a glass duck roaster. It included a double portion of food. I didn’t measure the amount of water, I just poured it a centimeter above the rice, as indicated in the recipe description. I didn’t really understand whether it was necessary to cover it with a lid, but I decided to cover it anyway. I think this helped the top layer not dry out. Kept in the oven for one hour. Thanks to the transparent glass, you could see when all the water had been absorbed into the rice. The result was a real pilaf) The meat turned out to be very soft and tender, and the rice was crumbly and soaked in meat juice, but not dry or too wet. We all liked it!
