Meat and side dish are baked together - quick, tasty and convenient. I usually cook the chicken and side dish separately. But in this form - in a pot in the oven - it saves a lot of time, because both the meat and the side dish are baked at the same time. Plus, thanks to the pots, you get a wonderful, incomparable taste.

STEP 1

Prepare the ingredients. To prepare rice with chicken in a pot we will need: chicken fillet

Wash the chicken fillet, dry it, remove the films. Cut the meat into medium cubes.
STEP 3

Peel the carrots and grate on a coarse grater.
STEP 4

Rinse the rice thoroughly.
STEP 5

In a bowl, combine chicken fillet, rice, grated carrots.
STEP 6

Salt, pepper, add curry and stir.
STEP 7

Fill the pots with rice and chicken about half or a little more, since the rice will swell as it cooks and needs room.
STEP 8

Add water or chicken broth to each pot until the rice is completely covered. Place a bay leaf into the pots.
STEP 9

Place the pots in an oven preheated to 180°C for 35-40 minutes. The water should be completely absorbed into the rice.

Rice in a pot with chicken is an ideal dinner option when both meat and side dish are cooked together. And that’s why I couldn’t ignore this recipe. I prefer short grain rice, but this time I took long, steamed rice. The only spices I added were salt and paprika. I washed the rice, washed the meat too, cut it into pieces, added carrots cut into circles, mixed everything and put it in pots. I filled it with water and placed a bay leaf and a piece of butter on top. I put it in the oven. I should have put in a little less rice, as he was trying to “escape”. But despite this, I and my whole family liked the result. It's really tasty and simple. Maria, thanks for the great recipe!
