In the cold autumn, I want to support my health with living vitamins. An excellent source of vitamin C is raw currant jam. I took frozen berries, defrosted them in the microwave and weighed them, it turned out to be 400 g. I beat the black currants in a blender. Added 370 g of sugar (kept the rest for sprinkling) and 2 tbsp. l. lemon juice. I whipped the whole mixture in the blender again, it seems to me that this helped the sugar dissolve faster. I transferred the jam into a 600 ml jar. The jar was pre-sterilized by adding a small amount of water in the microwave for 2 minutes. I poured boiling water over the lid. I cooled the live currant jam in the refrigerator, and in the evening we drank tea with it. The jam is delicious and very aromatic, and most importantly healthy!
