Rassolnik soup in a slow cooker with beef and pickles

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
It is clear that for the broth you can take any meat products you like - you want bones, you want tenderloin, you want beef, pork, chicken, and so on. I have beef here.
STEP 2
So, first we set our cartoon to the “Baking” mode for 40 minutes. Afterwards, pour some butter onto the bottom and add the chopped onion. Close the lid.
STEP 3
Cut the meat into small pieces (as if for a sauce), put it in a bowl, and cover with a lid.
STEP 4
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, add them to the onions and meat, and close the lid again.
STEP 5
About 10 minutes before the end of baking, add the diced potatoes.
STEP 6
Immediately add the washed pearl barley. And fill it all with hot water almost to the top, close the lid.
STEP 7
When the end of cooking signal sounds, set the “stewing” program for one hour. After half an hour, add cucumbers (you can cut them, you can grate them) and bay leaves into the soup.
STEP 8
Salt to taste. Add pepper to taste.
