  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a quick tea pie? Very simple! First, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. And start by preparing the dough. Take the highest grade flour, select large eggs. Milk is suitable for any fat content. It is better to take refined, odorless vegetable oil. I have sunflower, but you can replace it with another vegetable.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

In a bowl, combine eggs, sugar and salt. Whisk everything thoroughly until fluffy.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour room temperature milk and vegetable oil into the beaten eggs. Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk. You can replace vegetable oil with the same amount of soft butter at room temperature.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour some of the flour sifted with baking powder into the dough and mix.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Gradually stir in the remaining sifted flour into the dough. The dough should be medium thick, but fluid.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Line a baking pan with parchment and grease it with vegetable oil. My pan is 28 x 16, but you can use whatever you have. Pour half of the batter into the pan. Place the mold in an oven preheated to 200°C for 5-10 minutes until the dough sets and becomes dense.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

For the filling you will need boiled condensed milk. Choose high-quality, proven condensed milk. Without vegetable fats and food additives. The composition should contain only two ingredients: milk and sugar. The quality of the condensed milk will ultimately determine the taste and quality of the finished dish.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place boiled condensed milk on top of the set dough, not reaching 1 cm to the edges. It will remain on the surface and will not sink into the dough.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Pour the remaining half of the dough on top. Return the pie to the oven and bake for about 40 minutes at 180°C. The pie should be browned on top.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Remove the finished pie from the mold, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and serve. Bon appetit!

I had 400 g of boiled condensed milk left, I wanted to use it in a sweet pie. I found a suitable recipe on the site and calculated the amount of products I needed using the site’s calculator. The dough for the pie for tea in a hurry turned out to be thick, but flowing. For baking, I took a large glass dish. The pie in it turned out to be big, there was enough for everyone). The first step was to bake part of the dough for 15 minutes (due to the larger amount of dough). But the condensed milk didn’t want to go all out, it was too thick. Then I put it in a cooking bag and squeezed it onto the dough. I added more raw dough on top and decided to sprinkle chopped walnuts. I think boiled condensed milk goes well with them. Then baked for 40 minutes until golden brown. This was such a delicious pie! The children were especially delighted; they immediately swept him away in a large group. The dough is very soft, fluffy, porous. The condensed milk spread inside the pie. It turned out great, tasty, quick and made from ordinary ingredients. Thanks for the recipe!
