STEP 1

How to make chicken and cheese quesadilla at home? Prepare the ingredients. Wash vegetables and herbs, dry and cut in a convenient way. Cut the onion into rings. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and fry until cooked. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Heat a frying pan with low sides and a non-stick coating over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium. Lay out the first tortilla. Top with some cheese, tomatoes and meat.
STEP 2

Place the onion rings on top of the other ingredients on the tortilla. You can use either regular or red onions.
STEP 3

Place chopped herbs and remaining cheese on onion rings. The total time for frying the first tortilla should not exceed two minutes so that it does not burn.
STEP 4

Add finely chopped bell pepper. Add salt to taste. It is better to take red or green bell pepper. It seems to me that with them the quesadilla will look more impressive when cut.
STEP 5

Cover everything with the second tortilla. Wait half a minute until the cheese melts and sticks to the tortilla. Then flip the quesadilla over to the other side and fry for a couple more minutes. Usually, immediately after removing the quesadilla from the heat, cut it into four equal segments with a pizza cutter and immediately serve it to the table. Bon appetit!
