  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Let's get everything ready first. Let's free the bacon from vacuum packaging, as was the case in my case. And you cut the required number of slices to the length and width. Let’s decide by length, although it’s been proven that the more bacon, the tastier the finished product. But you don’t need to get too carried away.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the potatoes thoroughly and peel them. And then we’ll decide whether we’ll cook it whole, in slices or halves, raw, or whether your potatoes are already boiled, as in my case. By the way, the cooking time depends on this. I separated the required number of small potatoes that I had frozen as a preparation and had already been thawed. The baked potatoes also performed well.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

And then we season the potatoes by cutting large tubers in half, olive oil and spices.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

I also seasoned the bacon strips well with pepper and spices. I didn't add salt because... I don’t use it, but you can add salt to taste. If you have a version of raw smoked pork, then most likely you won’t need salt.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place each potato on a strip of pork.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Wrap the potatoes tightly in bacon and secure with something. This could be a wooden skewer, for example. Or, if there is nothing, then place the potatoes in the mold so that the edge of the bacon is at the bottom - the bacon will set under the heat and will not unfold.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

All this should be sent in a baking dish, greased with oil, into the oven preheated to 180 degrees.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Forty minutes is enough to get these beauties. While the potatoes are hot, you can sprinkle them with grated cheese. Since I still had some potatoes left, I baked them in the oven and then served them along with the finished bacon-wrapped potatoes.
