Potato chips without oil in the microwave

Crispy homemade chips without oil in just 15 minutes! I am a supporter of a healthy diet, but like many people, I love chips, especially in good company with delicious beer. But I try not to overuse them, since chips are often sold with flavorings and dyes, and deep-frying them is not very healthy either. Cooking chips in the microwave was a real discovery for me, as they cook without oil, quickly, and you can sprinkle them with your favorite spices to taste. You can prepare such chips for your children without fear for their health.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Prepare the ingredients. Wash potatoes with a brush

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

    Peel potatoes

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Cut the potatoes into very thin slices; for this purpose you can use a shredder, a knife, or a special grater.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Rinse the potatoes in cold water using a colander so that they do not stick to the paper or dishes during cooking. Wait until the water has completely drained.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the potato slices in a single layer on parchment paper for baking.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Cover the rotating plate from the microwave with this paper with the potatoes, or simply place the potatoes on a plate. Turn on the microwave on high power and cook until the chips begin to turn brown, this is about 3-5 minutes until they become crispy, but do not overcook, so as not to burn. Add salt, pepper and your favorite seasonings to taste. Repeat with the next portion of potatoes.

    STEP 7

Eat immediately after cooking while they are crispy

Thanks for such a simple and delicious recipe! I have never made chips at home - they turn out very tasty. But in the end I still added a little butter to the finished chips, since the spices did not stick to the potatoes. But in any case, this is much less oil than in store-bought chips (not to mention any harmful additives) or deep-fried ones. In addition, the oil was not subjected to heating or temperature treatment.
