    STEP 1

How to make potato casserole with mushrooms in the oven? Prepare your food. You can take any mushrooms - oyster mushrooms, champignons or wild mushrooms, like mine. Wash and peel the potatoes well.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel, rinse and boil wild mushrooms in boiling water for 30 minutes. Then drain the hot water, drain the mushrooms in a colander and rinse. There is no need to boil champignons or oyster mushrooms first, just peel and chop them.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Prepare a baking dish. Grease the bottom and sides of the pan with vegetable oil. Peel the onion, wash and chop. Spread the chopped onion over the bottom of the baking dish.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Cut the peeled potatoes into strips and place in a mold, on top of the chopped onion. Sprinkle the potatoes with a little salt and spices to your taste.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Then place the boiled mushrooms on the potatoes. Add a little salt. Pour cream evenly over the entire surface.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle generously over the entire casserole. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 40 minutes. When baked, the top will become an appetizing golden color.

Remove the finished casserole from the oven, cool slightly and serve. Bon appetit!

There were some frozen wild mushrooms left in the freezer, so I decided to make a potato casserole with mushrooms in the oven with them. I defrosted the mushrooms, but instead of boiling them, I fried them in vegetable oil along with onions, since the taste and aroma of the mushrooms are revealed most fully when fried. I cut the potatoes into thin cubes, added Italian herbs (I like their aroma), salt, mixed them and put them in a dish greased with vegetable oil. I placed mushrooms on top, poured milk with sour cream diluted in it (I took them instead of cream), sprinkled with grated cheese. I kept it in the oven at 220° for 40 minutes. During this time, the cheese was well baked, turning into a golden brown crust. The potatoes underneath turned out soft and juicy, although I added very little milk - only 0.5 cups. The casserole came out fragrant, with delicious mushrooms, it turned out wonderful! Thank you very much!
