Pork soup on the bone
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to cook pork soup on the bone? First, prepare the necessary products. You can replace pork with beef, chicken or turkey, but keep in mind that in this case the cooking time and calorie content of the dish will change. You can replace or supplement the vegetable part to your taste. You can replace rice with vermicelli, noodles or other cereals, for example, millet or buckwheat . or you can add nothing at all.
STEP 2
Wash the pork ribs thoroughly, cut into portions. You can replace the ribs with other pork meat on the bone or without it, for example, shoulder, neck or ham.
STEP 3
Wash the potatoes in running water with a brush, peel, rinse and cut into medium cubes.
STEP 4
Wash the carrots in running water with a brush, peel, rinse and grate on a coarse grater. If desired, you can change the cutting method.
STEP 5
Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. If you or your children do not like onions, you can omit them from the soup at all or add the whole onion at the stage of cooking the pork and discard it at the end.
STEP 6
Wash the parsley, dry and finely chop. If you wish, you can replace or supplement with other herbs, for example, dill, green onions, or use a mixture of different herbs.
STEP 7
Place the pork ribs in a saucepan, cover with clean cold water and place over high heat. Bring to a boil. Then cook, skimming off the foam, for about 50 minutes until done. The exact cooking time depends on the degree of heating of the stove and the food.
STEP 8
While the pork is cooking, prepare the roast. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and fry for 2-3 minutes until translucent. Add carrots, tomato paste and spices. Fry, stirring, for another 3-5 minutes.
STEP 9
Place potatoes and washed rice into boiling broth. Bring the soup back to a boil and simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes.
STEP 10
Place the roast into the soup. Cook everything together for another 5-7 minutes or longer until the vegetables are cooked. If necessary, salt and pepper the soup to taste. Turn off the heat.
STEP 11
Add chopped parsley to the pan.
STEP 12
Cover the pan with a lid and let the soup simmer for about 10 minutes.
STEP 13
Pour the finished delicious soup made from pork ribs into bowls, garnish with fresh herbs and serve. Bon appetit!
