STEP 1
Preparing yeast dough. First, let's make a dough. Heat the milk to a temperature of 35 degrees. We dilute yeast in it, add sugar, salt, sift a quarter of the prepared and pre-sifted flour and mix. The thickness of the mixture should resemble rich sour cream. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
STEP 2
Pour the remaining flour into the suitable dough, which also needs to be sifted. Add oil and knead into a smooth and elastic dough. Form a ball, place it in a bowl, cover with cling film and let stand in a warm place for 1 hour. It should fit as close as possible.
STEP 3
Let's prepare the filling. Peel the onion and fry in a frying pan with butter until golden brown, stirring. Add minced meat, salt and your favorite spices to the onion.
STEP 4
We also fry the mixture while stirring - do not overdry it. Approximate frying time is 7 minutes over moderate heat.
STEP 5
Knead the dough, form a sausage and divide it with a knife into equal pieces, the size of which will determine the size of the pies. Roll each piece into a thin flat cake and cut it on both edges.
STEP 6
We put the filling in the center, pull back the cut edges, push one through the other and pinch the sides. We will get half-opened pies.
STEP 7
Line a baking tray with baking paper and grease it with oil. Place the pies with meat on top. Brush them with egg and let stand for 20 minutes.
STEP 8
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the pies for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
STEP 9
During this time they will brown and be completely cooked. Now you know how to bake pies with meat!
