  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

First, rinse the fillet under running water, then cut it into cubes of about 2*2 cm. After which the fillet must be peppered and salted. Place the pieces in a prepared container with flour and mix in it. Now take a frying pan, pour vegetable oil into it and fry our chicken for 5-7 minutes.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Finely chop the garlic. It is better to cut the onion into half rings, so it will look more aesthetically pleasing in the dish. And the bell pepper - into strips. In the oil in which the chicken was fried, fry the garlic and onion for about 5 minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Next, add bell pepper to them and fry for another 5 minutes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Using a blender, make a puree from the tomatoes, having first peeled them. Then add chicken fillet and tomato puree to the resulting mixture and simmer everything together for about 25 minutes. Sprinkle with finely chopped herbs and - ta-dam! - our dish is ready. Bon appetit.

I read it and decided to do it. Moreover, I defrosted the chicken fillet the day before. Delicious. Son, he threshed it in a minute. Now this dish is one of my favorites.

Wonderful dish! It turns out very juicy and will probably go with any side dish. I preferred boiled short grain rice as a side dish. The only thing I didn't really like were the tomatoes. Firstly, I was 400 grams short, had to add a little water so that my pepperonata had more sauce. And secondly, my tomatoes turned out to be sour, which did not have a good effect on the overall taste of the dish. It seems to me that this problem can be solved by buying ready-made grated tomatoes in the store. And if the crushed tomatoes are Italian brand, then the pepperonata will be excellent. And you won’t have to bother with tomatoes.
