Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 8 hr
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Let's prepare the products. Wash apples and pears. Squeeze juice from lemon.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut out the center with seeds from the fruit and cut the pulp into cubes. I don’t peel the skin, it’s not hard and the pieces will be more intact. If you want, you can remove the skin too.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place the chopped fruits in the multicooker bowl and add sugar, shake a little.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the bowl in the multicooker, close it and turn on the “stew” program for 1 hour. During this time, the fruits will become soft and release juice.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

I don't recommend adding water. Look - the jam becomes the desired consistency. After an hour, turn off the multicooker and let the jam cool. A couple of hours is enough.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Then we will cook our jam according to the five-minute jam principle. Place the bowl in the multicooker, close it and turn on the “steam” program for 15 minutes.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Stir the jam. You see, it is already taking on a caramel appearance) When the program ends, turn off the multicooker and let the jam cool again for a couple of hours.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

The second cooking approach is exactly the same as the first - turn on the “steaming” mode for 15 minutes. The pear slices are amber in color and the jam has a pleasant caramel taste)

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

During the second cooking, add the juice of half a lemon. Taste the jam; if you want more pronounced sourness, add the juice of a whole lemon. At the end of the program, turn off the multicooker and let the jam cool for a couple of hours. And the third approach is again “steaming” for 15 minutes. During this time, we will sterilize the jars in any way convenient for you.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

When the program ends, pour the jam into jars and close. Turn it upside down and wrap it until it cools completely. And then we put it in a cold place.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

This is the resulting pear and apple jam) Slices of amber-colored fruit)) Moderately thick and very aromatic.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

    Have a nice tea)))

Eh! or Oh! ---well, I don’t have a slow cooker, but the jam is interesting. I made it from everything, even from rose petals, but for some reason I didn’t make it from my favorite pears. Interested: the ratio of pears (a whole kilogram) and apples (total 200g)?

Angel, I told you about some great sunshine for the winter! Both color and taste - summer in a jar! Opened it and enjoyed it in the middle of winter. Thank you very much for the recipe!
