Pasta with pumpkin

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Cut the onion into quarter rings, the pumpkin into cubes, finely chop the garlic.
STEP 2

Boil the chicken in salted water, do not discard the broth.
STEP 3

Fry onion and garlic in vegetable oil until translucent.
STEP 4

Add the pumpkin to the onion, sprinkle with thyme and fry for about 5 minutes.
STEP 5

Add 200 ml chicken broth and simmer for 20 minutes until soft. Add salt to taste during the process.
STEP 6

Mash the prepared pumpkin into puree.
STEP 7

Cut the chicken meat into arbitrary pieces and lightly fry.
STEP 8

Boil the pasta in the remaining broth. If it is not enough, add water. Cook until almost done. It is important not to overcook so that they keep their shape well. Don't throw out the pasta water; you may need it.
STEP 9

Mix pasta, chicken and puree. If the puree is too thick and difficult to stir, add pasta water, I needed about 150 ml.
