STEP 1

How to make pasta with cream in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. Any pasta shape will do: shells, snails, horns, etc. Take the fat content of the cream to 10-15%.
STEP 2

Pour 2.5 liters of water into a suitable size pan and bring to a boil. Salt the water, add pasta, stir. Cook the pasta over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Determine the cooking time based on the instructions on the package. The pasta should remain a little hard inside, that is, slightly undercooked. Place the finished pasta in a colander or sieve to drain the water.
STEP 3

At the same time, prepare the cream sauce. Melt butter in a frying pan.
STEP 4

Add flour to the pan, stir. Over moderate heat, stirring, fry the flour for 1-2 minutes.
STEP 5

Pour milk into the frying pan in a thin stream, while vigorously rubbing all the lumps of flour. This is easier to do in a small amount of liquid. Stir the mixture until completely homogeneous.
STEP 6

Add cream, stir. With constant stirring, bring the sauce to a slight thickening, without bringing to a boil.
STEP 7

Add salt to the sauce, taking into account the saltiness of the cheese. Add ground black pepper or other spices to taste and stir.
STEP 8

Combine pasta with cream sauce and stir.
STEP 9

Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater. You can use other types of cheese, as long as it is tasty and melts well.
STEP 10

Add cheese to pasta and mix well. Save some cheese for the top.
STEP 11

Place the prepared pasta in a baking dish. This can be a ceramic or glass form.
STEP 12

Sprinkle the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs over the top of the macaroni to create a tender, crispy cheese crust while baking.
STEP 13

Place the pasta in an oven preheated to 180C for 15 minutes. Determine the cooking time based on the operating characteristics of the oven. If the cheese on top has melted well and a crust has appeared, then you can remove the pan from the oven.
STEP 14

Serve pasta with cream immediately after cooking. You can supplement them with fresh vegetables and herbs. Bon appetit!
