  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pancakes without eggs, soda and yeast? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. You should not take very fresh kefir. It’s better to take one that has already stagnated in the refrigerator and you forgot about it a little. Heat kefir until warm.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

To prepare the dough for pancakes, take a comfortable deep bowl. Pour warmed kefir into the bowl.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add sugar and a pinch of salt to kefir. Mix the ingredients until the sugar begins to dissolve in the kefir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

    Pour in vegetable oil.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Then add flour and immediately knead the dough. There is no need to use a mixer. The dough is kneaded well and quickly until smooth with a regular whisk.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Use the amount of flour based on the consistency of the finished dough. It turns out like thick sour cream.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Heat the pan for making pancakes until hot and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Spoon the dough without spreading it. Lay out the dough in a heap, and then it will spread itself as it should.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Cook the pancakes over low heat for about a minute on each side until golden brown.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Remove the finished pancakes to a paper towel to remove excess oil. Top the pancakes with sour cream, condensed milk or jam and serve hot. Bon appetit!

After reading the list of ingredients for pancakes without eggs, soda and yeast, I honestly doubted that the pancakes would work. But until you try, you won't know. I cooked for six servings at once. I used 1% kefir. Mixed all the ingredients. Nine tablespoons of flour were needed instead of six. The pancakes turned out thin, but very tasty and tender. When fried, the pancakes smelled like yeasty pancakes. I was afraid that it would be difficult to turn them over. But no, there were no problems with this. The pancakes have a sour taste (probably because the kefir was sour). Breakfast with these pancakes turned out great. Julia, thank you very much for the recipe!

Thin, small pancakes. I added a little vanilla sugar to the dough. The first time I made it for three servings, the pancakes went like hot cakes. The second time I doubled the dough, but there was also nothing left) Thanks for the recipe!

I tried it, you need twice as much flour, otherwise the pancakes won’t bake.
