Pancakes with sour cream

Soft, thin, very tasty! For the whole family. Pancakes made with sour cream differ from classic ones in that they remain soft for a long time. These pancakes can be served with tea, coffee with jam, jam or condensed milk, or used for stuffing with any filling.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry thin pancakes with sour cream and water? Prepare your ingredients. It is better to use fatty and thick sour cream; pancakes will turn out even tastier with homemade sour cream. Remove the sour cream from the refrigerator in advance so that it is at room temperature when you start cooking. Water can be replaced with the same amount of milk. The amount of sugar can be adjusted to your taste. Place sour cream in a large container. Add sugar, salt and soda. Beat in the eggs.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk or mixer until the mixture is homogeneous in consistency.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add sifted wheat flour in small portions. The flour must be sifted to saturate it with oxygen and make the dough more airy, and the pancakes made from it soft and tasty.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Mix the mixture well with a whisk or mixer until all the lumps of flour are completely separated.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Then pour in a glass of water (milk) in small portions, stirring the dough each time. The amount of liquid must be adjusted depending on the thickness of the sour cream used. Therefore, you need to focus on the thickness and consistency of the resulting dough. The more milk or water you pour into the dough, the thinner the pancakes will be.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil and mix the dough again. Give it 15-20 minutes to “rest”, after which you can move on to frying the pancakes.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

It is convenient to fry pancakes in a cast iron frying pan or a non-stick frying pan. It is better to fry the first pancake in hot vegetable oil so that it does not stick. And in the future, you don’t need to add oil to the pan, since it is included in the dough.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Fry the pancakes over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Bon appetit!

The kids asked me to make pancakes. I decided to use the recipe for pancakes with sour cream; we just happened to buy some sour cream. The recipe turned out to be easy, especially if you follow the directions carefully. There were no lumps in the dough; I added the flour in small portions. True, I added less sugar, because we planned to eat it with condensed milk and honey. That's why my pancakes turned out pale. I noticed that if there is a lot of sugar in pancakes, they turn out more ruddy. And I decided to bake the pancakes not very thin; I poured the batter into the frying pan without sparing. Nice recipe, thanks!

In my family, pancakes are also held in high esteem) I also cook with sour cream, the pancakes turn out very tender, I just use homemade sour cream, it is very fatty and I dilute it with water, it makes an excellent replacement for milk

Diamond, and from the photographs exhibited at Tatee it is clear that the person cooked with sour cream, and not with milk. And the pancakes turned out very nice. Maybe your sour cream was very thick. In this case, I add apple cider vinegar to the dough. And then it seems that it’s easy to cook pancakes, but in fact they don’t turn out right away. Here you still need to heat the frying pan well. In any case, it should have turned out, well, if not pancakes, then pancakes. Don’t despair, try again and I can advise, without fear, adding 1-1.5 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and 2 tbsp. vegetable oil.
