    What about the yeast? Act according to the situation. My yeast had to be added to the flour, but we have semolina. I sent them to the cereal and mixed them. If your yeast first needs to be activated in warm water (in our case, milk), then follow this recommendation.

    Gradually add semolina with yeast to the egg mixture. Mix thoroughly with a whisk. You can do without a mixer here. Now it’s time for salt. Add just a little salt to balance the taste, these are sweet pancakes.

    Mix all this beauty and set aside, preferably somewhere warm. As soon as you see that the yeast has started working and the semolina has swollen, having absorbed the liquid, place the frying pan on the stove. You can fry it. This may take 30 minutes, possibly more, depending on the state of the test.

    But in order for the pancakes to fry well, add vegetable oil to our mixture - 1 tbsp. This amount of ingredients is enough.

    Grease a heated frying pan with butter, pour a ladle of dough, turning the frying pan from side to side - you want the dough to be evenly distributed over the surface. Fry thick fluffy pancakes on semolina on both sides for a minute and a half to two, until they are browned and cooked through. Place the finished pancakes in a stack on a suitable sized plate or dish.

I baked semolina pancakes with yeast in a cast iron frying pan. I formed the pancakes with the rounded side of the ladle. Baking such pancakes is a pleasure - they do not stick to the surface of the pan, they turn over easily, and do not tear. The pancakes turned out to be quite neutral in taste, so any additives will suit them. Their consistency is quite dense, but at the same time soft. The pancakes came out fluffy and rosy.
