Orange jam
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Ingredients.
STEP 2

Wash the oranges thoroughly.
STEP 3

Cook the whole thing directly in the skin for fifteen minutes.
STEP 4

Then fill with cold water and leave for two hours for the essential oils to come out. Otherwise the jam will turn out bitter.
STEP 5

Cut the boiled oranges into pieces of approximately 15 mm. on one side and remove the seeds.
STEP 6

Add vanillin.
STEP 7

Add sugar and one glass of water.
STEP 8

Leave for a while so that the sugar is saturated with water and juice and dissolves a little. When the entire sugar cap is “wet,” we begin to cook the jam.
STEP 9

Cook it over low heat for a little over an hour. When foam appears, it must be removed. It usually appears closer to readiness. About 15-20 minutes before the end of cooking.
STEP 10

Transfer the finished jam into clean jars.
STEP 11

Can be served as an independent delicacy or used as a filling for pies.
STEP 12

Bon appetit!
