    STEP 1

How to make an omelette with tomatoes and cheese in a frying pan? Prepare everything you need for this. The amount of ingredients is very approximate. You can change any ingredient up or down, depending on your taste. You can use any cheese, the main thing is that it can be easily grated. Milk of any fat content. The higher its fat content, the higher the calorie content of the finished dish.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half and remove the stem. Cut the tomatoes into slices. Grate the cheese.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In a separate bowl, combine eggs with milk. Add some salt and spices. Mix everything with a whisk.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Heat a frying pan until hot and pour in a little vegetable oil. You can also fry omelettes in butter. Pour the egg mixture into the pan. The bottom will begin to set immediately. For how to choose a frying pan and oil for frying, see the separate articles at the end of this recipe.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place chopped tomatoes over the entire surface of the omelette. The more tomatoes, the juicier the finished omelette will be.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the omelette. Cover the pan with a lid, turn the heat to low and cook the omelette for 4-6 minutes. At minimum heat, of course, it will cook longer, but it will not burn.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Under the lid, the omelette has time to fully bake and become airy. When the entire mass has become uniformly baked and there is no liquid left, you can remove the pan from the heat.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Sprinkle the finished omelette with chopped fresh herbs, place on plates and serve. Bon appetit!

Today for breakfast I prepared an omelette with tomatoes and cheese in a frying pan. The recipe is simple and straightforward, even a young housewife can do it. I didn’t deviate from the recipe, the ratio of eggs and milk is ideal. I chose a meaty, strong tomato. At first I thought that the tomatoes would give a lot of juice and the omelette would turn out watery. But everything turned out just great! During the short time of frying the omelet, the tomatoes managed to warm up well and at the same time retained their shape. I used sour cream cheese, fresh and tasty. I poured the egg and milk mixture into a very hot frying pan so that the crust would set on the bottom, and then fry it under the lid over low heat. The omelet is delicious, filling, juicy! Much depends on the taste of the cheese and eggs. For example, I only use homemade eggs for omelettes, they are tastier). Next time I'll add some chopped sausage for variety.

I made an omelette with tomatoes and cheese in a frying pan for breakfast. Beat eggs with milk, adding salt. I cut the tomato into slices and grated the cheese on a medium grater. Heat the oil in a frying pan, pour in the egg-milk mixture and lay out the tomato slices. Then sprinkled with grated cheese and cooked covered for about 5 minutes. Sprinkled with chopped dill. It was a great breakfast. And beautiful, and satisfying, and tasty. I really like tomatoes in omelette, they add juiciness and brightness. The omelette with cheese is simply delicious. Before serving, sprinkle with freshly ground pepper. I served it directly in the frying pan, as I was preparing one serving. Great recipe. Many thanks to the author)

Wonderful recipe. I cut the tomatoes into cubes - I think it’s more convenient and I should add that all the liquid should be drained from the chopped tomatoes
