But it’s better to boil the flakes a little in a small amount of water.

For breakfast I try to cook porridge more often, especially oatmeal. I love it for its speed of preparation, nutritional value and delicate consistency. I liked the oatmeal with water and milk because of the uniqueness of the process. Cooking in two stages is not only interesting, thanks to it my porridge turned out tender and boiled. I also noticed that if you first cook it in water, then when it boils, the oatmeal does not “run away.” The first step was to cook the cereal (large Hercules) for 10 minutes. After adding milk, another 7 minutes. Then cover with a lid and wrap the pan in a terry towel for about 15 minutes. The porridge turned out not very thick, but not liquid either. We don't like raisins, so we didn't add them. But we liked oatmeal with banana. A very tasty breakfast for the whole family!
