STEP 1

How to cook oatmeal with water and milk? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. The proportions of water and milk can be slightly changed in one direction or another. You can take milk of any fat content. The amount of sugar is based on your taste. If you plan to add sweet berries or fruits to the finished porridge, then you don’t have to add sugar at all. You can use large or small flakes for cooking. Small ones will boil faster and the porridge will be more homogeneous.
STEP 2

Rinse the oatmeal and place it in a small saucepan or ladle. Then fill with water. Place on the fire and bring to a boil. Boil for a few minutes over low heat until the porridge begins to swell. This will take 5-7 minutes. If you want to get a more nutritious porridge, you can cook it entirely with milk. Just replace the water with the same amount of milk. But it’s better to boil the flakes a little in a small amount of water.
STEP 3

Then pour in the milk. Stir and bring to a boil again.
STEP 4

Add sugar and a pinch of salt to the porridge to taste. Boil the porridge for another 3-4 minutes.
STEP 5

During this time the porridge will become thick. Cover it with a lid and remove from heat. Let it brew a little and steam. The porridge will become even thicker.
STEP 6

Rinse raisins in hot water. Peel the banana and cut into slices. To prevent the banana from darkening, you can sprinkle it with lemon juice.
STEP 7

Place the finished porridge on suitable plates. Add prepared banana and raisins. By the way, bananas and raisins can be replaced with any dried fruits, apples, pears, or berries. Bon appetit!
