STEP 1

How to bake oatmeal cookies without eggs? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take oatmeal and pour boiling water over it until it is covered with water. Cover with a lid or flat plate and leave for 10 minutes. If you have oatmeal that does not require cooking, then you can not pour boiling water over it, but simply rinse it with warm water.
STEP 2

Take a deep bowl. Sift the flour into it through a sieve or using a special mug. Add sugar to the flour and mix with a spoon. Set aside, we will need the flour a little later. Since flour from different manufacturers has different properties, you may need less or more of it.
STEP 3

Combine honey and butter in a bowl or saucepan.
STEP 4

Add baking powder and, stirring, heat in a water bath. You should get a homogeneous, very pleasant foaming mass that will increase slightly in volume. Set aside for now.
STEP 5

Add steamed oatmeal to flour. Mix well.
STEP 6

Pour the butter-honey mixture into a bowl. Stir. You should get a medium-thick dough that holds its shape and at the same time sticks to your hands.
STEP 7

Line a baking tray with baking paper. Using a tablespoon, place the oatmeal dough onto the baking sheet. Flatten the dough to create flatter “piles.”
STEP 8

Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes. The times are approximate, be guided by the operating characteristics of your oven. The longer the cookies bake, the less soft they will be.
