Millet soup with chicken
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to cook millet soup in chicken broth with potatoes? Prepare the necessary products. Any part of the chicken is suitable for the broth. I have thigh and fillet. Take odorless vegetable oil. You can add a set of vegetables for the soup to your liking.

STEP 3

Wash the pre-peeled carrots and cut into thin strips. You can grate carrots on a coarse grater.
STEP 4

Peel the onions, wash them, cut them into small cubes.
STEP 5

Wash the bell pepper, remove the stem and seeds. Cut the pepper into small cubes.

Add bell pepper to vegetables and stir.

Fry the vegetables for another 1 minute and remove from heat.
STEP 9

Cut the pre-peeled potatoes into small cubes.
STEP 10

Remove the chicken from the broth and cool slightly. Separate the meat from the bones and cut into small pieces.

Dip the potatoes into the broth.

Place the millet in the pan after the potatoes. Turn up the heat. Bring the soup to a boil. Boil potatoes with millet for about 10-15 minutes. Salt the soup.

Place the fried vegetables into the pan.

Add chicken pieces and stir. Taste the soup and add salt if necessary. Cook the soup over moderate heat for 5-7 minutes.
STEP 16

Add bay leaf to soup. At a low simmer, cook the soup for another 5 minutes.
STEP 17
