Milk donuts without yeast in a frying pan

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make donuts with milk without yeast in a frying pan? Prepare your food. It may take more or less flour than the specified amount, you will look at the dough. Remove the egg from the refrigerator in advance to keep it warm. Melt the butter in a convenient way and cool to room temperature. For deep frying, use refined oil for frying. Read about how to choose the right oil in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe.
STEP 2

Take a bowl and sift the flour into it. By doing this you will not only rid it of possible debris, but also saturate it with oxygen, which will make the donuts more airy. To begin with, take not all the flour, but about 2/3 of the total volume; during the process you will add as needed. Add baking soda and salt to the flour (to balance the taste) and stir. Read about all the nuances of working with soda in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.
STEP 3

Beat an egg into a small bowl, add sugar and stir.
STEP 4

Pour the egg and sugar into the flour, add melted butter and warm milk.
STEP 5

Start kneading the dough. If it is too liquid, then add more flour, adding it in portions. The main thing is not to overdo it with flour so that the dough does not become too tough. You can read more about flour and its properties in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.
STEP 6

When the dough comes together and becomes homogeneous, but remains soft, stop kneading. Leave the dough to lie under a towel for 10 minutes.
STEP 7

Dust the table with flour and place the dough on it. Using a rolling pin, roll it out into a layer about 1.5 cm thick. Cut out circles from the dough using a glass. Use a smaller die cutter to cut out the middle of the circles, forming a donut (I use a pastry cutter for this). Gather the scraps of dough into a ball again and make donuts from them in the same way as the first batch.
STEP 8

Heat oil for deep frying in a frying pan. Take a frying pan with a thick bottom and high sides. There should be oil in it approximately to the middle. There is a simple way to check whether the oil has warmed up well enough. Dip a wooden stick into it. If bubbles have gathered around it, then you can begin the frying process. Dip the donut pieces into the oil.
STEP 9

Fry them over medium heat until golden brown, then flip them over.
STEP 10

Remove the donuts to a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb excess fat. And put the next batch into the pan. Fry all the donuts this way.
STEP 11

Dust donuts with powdered sugar before serving. Bon appetit!
