    While the rice is cooking, prepare the minced meat. To do this, cut the meat into small pieces and pass through a meat grinder.

    Place the minced meat in a spacious bowl in which you will knead it. Add onion to the minced meat, also minced.

    Then add boiled rice, egg, salt and spices. For spices I use dry dill and a little pepper mixture.

    Mix everything well with your hands. Beat the minced meat on the bottom of the bowl so that it becomes denser and the meatballs do not fall apart during cooking.

    Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Form meatballs with your hands and place in pan.

    Separately combine sour cream with tomato paste. Add some water and spices. Add flour. Mix everything well.

I found on the website my favorite way to cook meatballs in tomato sour cream sauce in the oven. I like that everything is done simply, and the end result is a very tasty and nutritious dish! I made a large portion, so I calculated the amount of products using the site’s calculator. I took different meats: beef, pork and loin. I chopped the onion along with the meat. I added regular boiled rice, which I drained well from the water. I used two eggs. I didn’t add a lot of spices, just vegetable seasoning and paprika. After beating the minced meat, you can easily form meatballs; I additionally soaked my hands in water. I covered the bottom of the mold with parchment; from my own experience I know that this will make it easier to wash the dishes. You can also cover it with foil. I simply grease the glass form with vegetable oil. My filling turned out to be quite thick, it literally enveloped every meatball. I baked it for exactly an hour at 180°C. The meatballs were browned and covered with an appetizing crust! As it cooled, the remaining sauce was almost completely absorbed into the meatballs. They are soft, juicy inside and very tasty! I recommend!
