  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake meat with sour cream in the oven? Prepare all the products indicated in the recipe. What kind of meat is better to take? Pork or beef are perfect, but you can even cook poultry this way and it will turn out just as tasty. So, rinse the meat and dry it with paper napkins.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the pulp into small pieces (like goulash). If you make the pieces larger, they will take longer to bake in the oven, and if the pieces are too small, then the meat may turn out a little dry.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add a heaping tablespoon of sour cream and a small spoonful of honey to the pork. Squeeze the juice of half a fresh lemon, add salt to taste and sprinkle with your favorite seasonings. Add ground peppers, garlic powder, dried basil or oregano. Adjust the amount of any spice to your taste. If you like spicy dishes, then use chili pepper.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Mix everything very well. Rinse the greens, dry and chop finely. Parsley, fresh cilantro and green onions are ideal for this recipe. Send the greens to the meat, lightly kneading them in your hands.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

If possible, be sure to use suneli hops and a pinch of ground coriander; these seasonings will add a special zest, unique taste and a beautiful appetizing shade to the finished dish. Mix everything well again, cover the meat with cling film or a lid and put it in the refrigerator to marinate for about an hour.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the pork pieces on a baking sheet and place in a preheated oven for an hour and a half. Baking temperature can vary from 180 to 240 degrees depending on the capabilities of your oven. To prevent the meat from drying out during baking, cover the pan with foil, and 20 minutes before cooking, remove the foil and leave in the oven until browned.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Garnish the finished dish with a sprig of parsley or cilantro, sprinkle with ground allspice if desired.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Serve as a separate dish with fresh vegetables and salads, or as an addition to potatoes, pasta and boiled cereals.

A wonderful pork dish! I was looking for what I could make from pork and leftover sour cream and found your recipe based on the ingredients. Having reduced the amount of food using the site’s calculator, which is very convenient, I cooked meat in sour cream in the oven for dinner. It is very interesting to add herbs and green onions to the marinade. I cut the pork into medium pieces. I used all the suggested spices except chili pepper. I marinated the meat for more than an hour, and this is what happened. Then I baked it in a mold with a lid for 20 minutes at 180 C, then another 15 minutes without a lid. The aroma is incredible! Having taken the dish out of the oven, I wasn’t very impressed with the appearance, but the taste... it’s something! The meat with sour cream in the oven turned out to have a Georgian taste, incredibly tender and juicy, aromatic and appetizing. The spicy sweet and sour marinade is so bright and rich in flavors that gave the pork a special piquancy. This dish can be served with your favorite side dish and a slice of bread. Thanks for the interesting recipe!

I cooked meat in sour cream in the oven for dinner, which turned out incredibly tender, juicy, and aromatic due to the spices! I cut the pork into medium pieces and placed it in a deep bowl. To the meat I added sour cream, salt, pepper, honey, lemon juice, smoked paprika, chopped parsley, suneli hops and mixed. I left it to marinate for 40 minutes. Then I put it in a baking dish and put it in the oven to bake at 180° for 45 minutes. The recipe is excellent and such meat can be prepared for a holiday table, it turns out very tasty. Thank you Alya Zhemchuzhinka for the wonderful recipe!
