STEP 1
Let's prepare simple products.
STEP 2
Cut the onion into cubes. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until golden brown.
STEP 3
Cut the meat into small cubes.
STEP 4
Add the meat to the onion and fry a little to create an appetizing crust.
STEP 5
Meanwhile, peel the pumpkin and chop it. You can grate it on a fine grater, or in a chopper, as I did.
STEP 6
When the meat “sets”, add chopped pumpkin to it. Mix everything.
STEP 7
Immediately add chopped garlic, grated fresh ginger, tomato paste, salt and pepper to taste, and your favorite spices.
STEP 8
Pour boiling water, stir, cover with a lid and simmer the meat over low heat for 30-35 minutes. The meat needs to be very soft.
STEP 9
2-3 minutes before the dish is ready, sprinkle the meat and sauce with lemon juice, stir and simmer with the lid on.
STEP 10
Meat in pumpkin sauce is ready! The aroma is amazing. Serve with fresh vegetables; boiled potatoes are a good garnish.
