STEP 1

How to make mashed potatoes with cheese? Prepare your food. Rinse the potatoes well and dry. Take milk of any fat content, natural. Cheese - hard or semi-hard, high quality and tasty, without milk fat substitutes.
STEP 2

Grate the cheese on a medium grater.
STEP 3

Peel and rinse the potatoes. Cut the tubers into several pieces. Place the potatoes in a saucepan and add cold water until it completely covers the vegetables. Add salt.
STEP 4

Place the pan on the fire and bring the water to a boil. Cook the potatoes over low heat for about 30 minutes, checking for doneness with a knife - it should pierce the pieces easily. Cooking time will depend on the variety and size of the tubers. Boil the milk. Drain all the water from the finished potatoes. Mash the potatoes until puree, gradually pouring hot milk into it.
STEP 5

Add butter to the mashed potatoes and stir until the butter is distributed throughout the potatoes. Add grated cheese to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
STEP 6

Serve the mashed potatoes immediately while they are hot. Bon appetit!
